Hostlink UK provides a lodging service for international visitors over 18 years of age, in the Reading and Oxford areas within the UK. Hostlink UK is committed to providing a safe, clean and comfortable room with one of our specially vetted and approved stay in the UK.

Under the Half board offering,  our specially chosen host families will provide 

• A single room where they can study read or be alone when they wish
• A full-size, comfortable bed with a good supply of pillows, duvet and blankets
• Hand and bath towels
• Ample drawer and wardrobe space, a mirror, waste bin
• A writing table/desk and chair (unless adequate provision is made for undisturbed study in another part of the house)
• Adequate lighting by the bed and at the desk
• Free access to the living room of the house
• Free access to daily shower/bathing facilities
• Weekly change of bedding
• Laundry facilities
• Adequate heating
• A daily breakfast meal
• A daily evening meal

"The food" is part of the homestay experience and you will be expected to eat the same food as other members of the household. However, it is a good idea to discuss any food preferences early in the stay to avoid misunderstandings later. In some countries it is safer to drink bottled water, however it is safe to drink tap water in England.
